Wow lots of questions, I will answer what I can. I have CS2 but
cookie lips
not Lightroom. In Photoshop you need to learn how to use masks! That is the
Registered User
most important tool for me. Always make a copy of ur original image!

To make people skinnier there are several tools you can use.
Viewed 3815 times

-look carefully at ur shadows & highlights, this will show you where the
fatty folds are. Example; on a double chin the second chin is catching
light that you wouldn't catch if there was no double chin, so you need to
make the second chin fade into the shadows.

-use the clone stamp tool to replace the double chin with the shadows from
the neck.

-Always check the opacity of the type of tool you are using, you will
hardly ever need to use it at 100%, it is too harsh

-you can also use the liquify tool to make a person look skinnier. follow
this link to see an article on this.

Whiter teeth is easier. (layers pallet shows small pic of ur image)

-copy ur image (on the layers pallet drag ur original image to the icon
that is second from the right on the bottom) or Ctrl+J

-On the layers pallet at the top left change the modes to ''screen'' this
brightens the picture a lot, don't worry we're not finished.

-place a reverse mask on the picture (hold Alt & click the icon that is
second from the left on the layers pallet) you won't see the screened
imaged anymore.

-select the erase tool, six down on the left of the tool bar or type
''E''.

- right clck to select ur brush size, use a soft one with fuzzy edges. At
top of screen change brush opacity to 100% (one of the times you will use
100%)

- zoom in Ctrl++ (Crtl & the plus sign) now move the picture around to
view the teeth.

- make sure you are working on the mask, should have a white outline
around it.

-make sure the top color of the two colors is black (type''D'')

-Now erase the teeth. if you mess up & erase part of the lips then click
on the white color swatch on the tool pallet or type ''X'' to switch the
color swatches & erase over the part you weren't suppose to erase. (that
is why the mask is so great, if you erase too much you can always switch
ur color & bring back the part you didn't want to erase)

-now zoom back out to full view (Ctrl+- zooms out slowly, Ctrl+0 zooms out
to full view)

-Lower the opacity of the ''screened'' image to zero & slowly raise it
while looking at ur picture till you are satisfied with it. (opacity is on
the top right of ur layers pallet)

- Merge ur layers (Crtl+E) & make a copy (Crtl+J) of the layer if you are
doing more editing, so you can always go back if you mess up.

-Once you are finished merge all ur layers (Crtl+Shft+E) & save ur image
If you are doing a lot of editing you will want to save ur work frequently
as a PSD file withou merging the layers.

Sorry that was so long, but I wanted to walk you through every step, hope
it helps.

-For older try the Sharpen Filters & maybe grain

-For younger make a copy of original pic
apply a light Gaussain blur to the copy from filter menu
click the mask icon to add a white mask
use the erase tool with the white color swatch selected & erase the eyes &
mouth to make them more sharp

-you can also try the reduce noise filter along with the gaussain blur
filter
just play with the filters a lot for different looks

To save pics online you want to resize the pic:
-(Alt+Ctrl+I) to bring up image size menu

-make sure that all three boxes at bottom are checked, scale styles,
constrain proportions, resample image

-resize the image probably no more than 4x6 inches & the resolution at 72
pixels/inch

-save image as a new picture (I usually save with the same name then_LR to
show that the image is Low Resolution) Remember where you save ur picture!

-on the website you want to upload to you have to find the button that
lets you upload pictures, then you click browse & find the place you saved
you picture.
